Every RideMate user must verify their university email (.edu), student ID, and phone number before joining the platform. In addition, riders and drivers are rated after every trip, ensuring a community built on accountability and trust.

Can I choose who I travel with?

Yes. You can view driver and rider profiles, including their university, ratings, and reviews before confirming a ride. This transparency helps you feel confident knowing you're traveling with verified students from your university network.

What if someone cancels?

If a driver or rider cancels, you'll be notified immediately, and your payment will be automatically refunded. You can then rebook with another verified student. We encourage users to cancel only when necessary to maintain reliability across the community.

How do drivers get paid?

After each trip, drivers are paid automatically through the app. Funds are transferred directly to their linked account, with RideMate ensuring a smooth and secure process every time.
